Photographs from a special school

Photographs from Broomfield South SILC (specialist learning inclusive centre) admits pupils with a wide range of special educational needs, including moderate learning difficulties, severe learning difficulties and autistic spectrum conditions. Many pupils experience complex and multiple barriers to learning and all have a statement of special educational needs. Some have severe behavioural difficulties.

“We valued the acknowledgement that SILCs need to adapt Investors in Pupils and differentiate it, not just for the school, but also for particular groups of pupils e.g. specialist autism provision. Great to have an assessor with special school experience.”
